USB Copy Unit (Y-Stick) Now Available for V1000

The USB Copy Unit, p/n JVOP-181, is now available for immediate sale. The USB Copy Unit, also known as the
“Y-Stick” currently has two functions:

• Allows the V1000 to connect to the USB port on a PC to be used as a USB to serial converter
• Reads, copies, and verifies V1000 parameter settings from one V1000 Drive to another V1000 Drive as long as voltage class, capacity, control mode, and software version match

In the future, a software tool called “Copy Unit Manager” will allow a parameter file to be saved from the Y-Stick to a PC and from a PC to the Y-Stick. (Expected: 1Q, 2008)

JVOP-181 Kit Contents:

• (1) USB Copy Unit or “Y-Stick”
• (1) 1ft. USB Cable to connect PC to Y-Stick
• (1) 3ft. Cable with a RJ-45 connector on both ends to connect Y-Stick to V1000
• (1) Technical Manual (Document No. TOBPC73060025)
