OUR REPAIR PROCESS

Setting the right expectations

We have put together a time line or a step-by-step guide that clearly shows the most important steps of every repair order. Most of our clients come to us when they are under enormous stress and pressure trying to get their production back to normal operation. We designed our repair process to avoid adding even more stress on our clients by making it extremely transparent and doing everything possible to ensure that everyone involved in the process is always on the same page.

QUOTE REQUEST
CLIENT:
Contacts us via phone, email or by submitting the online form to request the service quote and communicate the order urgency.

PRECISION ZONE:
We respond to the quote and provide estimated costs, available options, turnaround time and shipping instructions.

CLIENT:
Packs and ships the unit to Precision Zone, following our shipping instructions.

Precision Zone Warehouse and Receiving Dock
RECEIVING
PRECISION ZONE:
We receive the unit, inspect the package and assign a technician to perform the initial evaluation and testing.

Motor Inspection
EVALUATION
PRECISION ZONE:
Within 24 - 48 hours of the receipt of the unit, the assigned technician performs initial evaluation and testing.

Evaluation includes:
  • visual inspection
  • static check
  • power test (if visual and static checks have passed).

We provide the Client with the updated quote that reflects the results of the initial evaluation.

CLIENT:
Issues approval of the updated repair quote, including the updated cost and estimated time of repair.

SCHEDULING
PRECISION ZONE:
Upon receipt of the Client's approval of the updated quote, and unless the Client opted for an exchange option, we schedule the repair based on your request urgency and current capacity.

REPAIR
PRECISION ZONE:
  • We repair, refurbish and thoroughly clean or repaint your unit.
  • The unit goes through a series of QA tests, including true load and full function testing
  • We update the tracking system with the relevant notes at every step of the repair process
  • Once repair is completed, we process the payment
  • The unit is transferred to the shipping department

SHIPPING
PRECISION ZONE:
  • The unit is carefully packaged for shipping.
  • Shipping instructions are verified and the unit is shipped based on the selected method to your desired location.
