Computer Numerical Control, also referred to as CNC, is the brain of every machine. Therefore it is important to make sure it is functioning properly. When the control fails or has an issue it can be very difficult to diagnose and repair. Here at Precision Zone our technicians have many years of experience in repair of CNC controls and CNC boards.

We specialize in several brands and series of controls. We have custom built machine simulators to ensure your control is tested and fully functional when it returns. Common problems might include memory loss, data corruption, servo control, I/O or input/output functionality, or power supply. Whether you determine a single board is at fault or would like to send your entire control rack, Precision Zone can provide expert analysis of CNC control or PCB issues.

PCB Evaluation Notes:

Evaluation of Numeric Control products is a very extensive process. Testing and troubleshooting of all functions pertaining to any given board takes significant time. In addition, even more time is needed to test all functions on a complete CNC control.

Given this complexity, and unlike all other product lines we service, we will not be able to offer free evaluation of PCBs. If the part is found to have no problem, is deemed un-repairable, or repair is declined, an evaluation fee will apply. If the part is repairable, and approval is given, the evaluation fee will be waived.

$150 fee for individual boards evaluation

$350 fee for complete racks evaluation

Precision Zone has a vast knowledge base and industry expert technical support to troubleshoot your CNC control issues. Many machine tool builders use the same controls, whether your machine is Matsuura, Mori Seiki, Kitamura, Hitachi Seiki, Kia, Mazak, Okuma, or Makino, to name a few, our technicians can help. Great customer service and company. I had a Turret Drive go dead on my CNC. I sent it in for repair and was told it was not repairable. They worked on trying to source parts to get the drive back up and running. It is Dec 2023 and my Drive is from 1997. Well, they were able to find parts to fix the drive. I installed the drive and my machine is now back up and running. I will definitely use Precision Zone in the future.

Had to share this. I call about an item, they check it out for me with a pronpt returned call(first good impression). I go to order the part online after the clarifications and realize i was asking for the wrong size to begin with, my fault entirely, so i order the correct item.
