If you purchased an exchange sale with us, you may earn a core credit for returning your core item.

  • How do I need to prepare my item for shipping?
    Please follow our shipping instructions and you should be all set.
  • Do you provide any pre-repair troubleshooting tips?
    Due to great variation of failures affecting different types of products, it is hard to provide a standard troubleshooting guide. We did however put together some tips for preliminary visual inspection of drives and motors that you can perform on your own prior to sending the item for repair. We also provide free technical support and can help you diagnose your issue to make sure we resolve your issue and repair the proper equipment.
  • Do you offer free evaluation of all products?
    Yes, all products sent to us for repair go through a thorough evaluation and testing at no cost to clients. The purpose of this evaluation is to establish the extent of the damage, identify required replacements needed for a given repair, determine required turnaround and cost of the repair.
  • What if I change my mind after my item goes through the free evaluation?
    If you decide that the cost of repair is higher than expected, and you do not want to replace your faulty item with a new or refurbished product, we will ship the item back to you. The evaluation will still remain free of charge to you, but you will have to cover all related shipping and handling costs.
  • How long is your standard repair warranty?
    Precision Zone warrants that for a period of six (6) months on most products sold or serviced and for a period of twelve (12) months on parts and labor on Motor serviced items from the date of shipment. For more detail, please refer to our standard warranty policy.
  • Do you offer extended warranty plans?
    No, at this time we do not offer any extended warranty coverage.
  • Who is responsible for the damage to my item if it took place during return shipment?
    The carrier is responsible for all and any damage that occurred to your item while it was processed by the shipping company. Precision Zone does not bear any responsibility for any damage to your product during inbound or outbound shipping. We encourage our clients to add insurance when available with the carrier.
  • How long does it take to repair an item (drive, motor, ...)?
    Standard Repair Time is 7-10 business days. Rush options may be available upon request.
  • What are the payment options?
    We accept all major credit cards, wire transfers, ACH payment, and Paypal. We also accept net terms with approved repeat client accounts.
  • Do you perform on-site repairs?
    Yes, we offer field or on-site service to clients within 50 mile radius from our main location in Wheeling, IL.
  • Do you have a minimum order amount?
    Yes, the minimum order amount is $50.00.
  • Will exchange or refurbished items ship immediately?
    Exchange and refurbished items will ship within 1-2 business days.
